Semi-dry sparkling wines

Frizzante semi-dry sparkling wines are the ideal compromise between the freshness of a dry wine and a subtle sweetness. Fine bubbles, pleasant fruitiness and a slightly sweet character create a wine that is easy to drink and suitable for a variety of occasions. You can enjoy Frizzante semi-dry on its own, as an aperitif, with a light meal, during a barbecue or during a summer gathering with friends. Krist Winery offers a selection of wines from Moravia and selected wine-growing regions of the European Union. We prepare our Frizzante from the popular varieties Pálava, Hibernal, Pinot Gris and Müller Thurgau.

What is Frizzante semi-dry?

Frizzante is a sparkling wine with a subtle effervescence, which is lighter and less intensely carbonated than classic sparkling wine. The designation semi-dry means that the wine contains more residual sugar than dry wine, but it is still not a particularly sweet wine. In Frizzante semi-dry, the sweetness is balanced by acidity and freshness. The result is a harmonious wine with a pleasantly fruity character and fine bubbles.

What does semi-dry sparkling wine taste like?

Semi-dry Frizzante tends to be fresh, fruity and slightly sweet.

Depending on the specific variety, you can find notes in the aroma and taste of:

citrus
green apple
pears
peach
strawberries
raspberries
tropical fruit
flowers
The subtle sweetness highlights the fruity character, while the acidity gives the wine freshness.
