Our wines from the Krist Winery

Welcome to the world of wines from the Krist Winery in Milotice, Moravia. Here you’ll find wines that, in most cases, are based on the quality of Moravian grapes, the experience of several generations, and a respect for individual grape varieties. In addition to Moravian wines, our selection also includes carefully selected wines from other wine regions of the European Union, which enrich our portfolio with additional varieties, styles, and taste experiences. Our selection includes Moravian white, red, and rosé wines, Frizzante sparkling wines, wines with special designations, and convenient Bag-in-Box packaging, as well as wines from select European wine regions. We offer both the classic varieties you know and love, as well as less common wines for those who enjoy discovering something new. The Krist Winery is located in Milotice, near Kyjov, and its history dates back to 1996. That’s when Tomáš Krist founded the winery, continuing the family’s winemaking tradition. Today, he cultivates his own vineyards while expanding his selection to include wines from select wine regions across the European Union, so he can offer customers a wide variety of wines all in one place. Wines for every occasion—each wine has its own character. Sometimes you’re looking for a light and crisp white wine for dinner; other times, a bold Pálava, a full-bodied red wine to pair with meat, a refreshing Frizzante for a summer evening, or you might want to discover a wine from one of Europe’s wine regions. That’s why we’ve organized our selection by wine color, character, and how you’d like to enjoy it.

White Wines

Discover crisp Moravian and European white wines, ranging from light and easy-drinking varieties to full-bodied wines with special designations. Our selection includes, for example, Pálava, Sauvignon, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Müller-Thurgau, and Grüner Veltliner. You can choose based on residual sugar—from dry to semi-dry and semi-sweet to sweet white wines.

Red Wines

Moravian and European red wines hold a unique place, especially among lovers of fuller-bodied and more distinctive wines. Our selection includes varieties such as Frankovka, Modrý Portugal, Pinot Noir, Zweigeltrebe, Cabernet Cubin, and Alibernet. You can choose a lighter wine for casual gatherings or more distinctive wines with special designations suitable for a good meal. Our specialties include, for example, Cabernet Cubin and Alibernet.

Rosé Wines

Rosé wine is the ideal choice for anyone looking for the freshness of white wine but who also wants a slightly more pronounced fruity character. It’s great chilled in the summer, with light meals, salads, barbecues, or just for relaxing with friends. Our selection includes Moravian rosé wines as well as select wines from other European wine regions.

Frizzante and Sparkling Wines

Do you like Prosecco? Try Krist’s Czech Frizzante as well. Our Moravian sparkling wines are made from grape varieties such as Pálava, Hibernal, Pinot Gris, and Müller-Thurgau. Each offers a slightly different taste experience, but they all share freshness, light effervescence, and excellent drinkability. The Krist Winery selection includes, for example, Pálava, Pinot Gris, Hibernal, and Müller Thurgau as Moravian sparkling wines carbonated with carbon dioxide.
