What Does “Dry Wine” Mean?
The term “dry wine” does not mean that the wine is sour or “dry” in the literal sense of the word. It refers to the amount of residual sugar in the wine. In dry wine, the residual sugar content is low, so when drinking it, we primarily perceive the character of the grape variety, acidity, freshness, and other flavor characteristics of the wine. This is precisely why dry white wines are so popular. They aren’t noticeably sweet and pair well with food.
Dry Moravian White Wine
